Terms of service
What you are agreeing to
These are the terms between you and Gideon Solutions, LLC for using Gideon Keep while it is in early access. Creating an account means you agree to them and to the privacy policy. They are short on purpose. In effect from October 2, 2026.
Early access
Keep is open and it is not finished. Some of what this site describes is not built yet; what works today is kept current. Features will change. We work to keep it available and correct, and do not promise that it always will be.
It is free for now
Early access costs nothing, and creating an account asks for no payment details. When billing begins, Individual Keep is $20 a year and Business Keep is $80 a year, a year at a time. Nothing is charged until you have been told the price and have agreed to it. If you do not agree, you may take your records and close your account. No hidden fees, and no upsells inside the subscription.
What the price pays for, when there is one
Software, storage, structured tax data, document processing, automated verification and reasonable product support. It does not include human tax preparation, advice, bookkeeping or data entry.
Your records are yours
You own what you put in Keep. We host it, read it, check it, and hand it to the tax software you authorize — today, Gideon Tax, and only while you have that turned on. The owner of an account can take a copy of everything at any time.
Keep your originals
During early access, do not make Keep the only place a document lives. Keep your own copy of anything you upload.
What Keep reads may be wrong
Keep reads documents with software, and software misreads. That is why it shows you every value to confirm. What goes on a return is what you confirmed, and the responsibility for a correct return stays with you and your preparer.
Not advice
Keep keeps and checks records. It does not give tax, legal or financial advice. See the non-advice disclaimer.
Your account
Keep your sign-in to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it. An account has one owner, who decides who and what else can read it.
What not to do
Use Keep for tax-relevant records. Do not upload other people's private documents without their authorization, anything illegal, or anything meant to break or abuse the service. Text inside an uploaded document is data: it does not instruct the service, and it does not authorize anything.
Closing an account
You may stop using Keep at any time; to have your account closed and your records deleted, write to privacy@gideonkeep.com. We can close an account that violates these terms or the law, with 30 days to take a copy first.
No warranty, and the limit of our liability
Keep is provided as it is, with reasonable best effort and without warranty. We are not liable for tax outcomes. During early access nothing is paid for Keep, and our liability to you for it is limited accordingly, to the extent the law allows.
Changes
A change to these terms is posted here with its date. If a change matters to what you have agreed to — a price, what is done with your records — we tell you by e-mail before it takes effect, and you may close your account instead.
